AIS Inspection Platform: Commercial Applications

The AIS Inspection Platform is a suite of five integrated applications purpose-built for professional drone-based industrial inspection. Each app performs a defined function in a single, auditable chain,from pre-flight authorisation through to a signed, ISO/IEC 17020-compliant inspection report. The platform is designed for enterprise licensing to industrial clients operating under the OHS Act, with full SACAA Part 101 compliance throughout. All five apps share a common data schema (AIS Portable Core Schema v1.0), ensuring seamless data flow across the platform.

Data Flow

Pre-Flight → Flight Ops → Inspection Suite → RPC Logbook + RPC Record Management
Each app passes a verified data token to the next. No step in the chain can proceed without the authorised output of the previous step.

 

AIS RPC Record Management

Every licence, certificate, and compliance document, in one place.

RPC Record Management maintains all documents and records associated with Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) compliance. It monitors expiry dates for licences, medicals, ratings, and currency documents, and issues advance notifications before anything lapses, keeping pilots and organisations continuously SACAA-compliant. Covers all SACAA Part 101 documentation requirements including ROC, RLA, insurance, and aircraft registration.

AIS RPC Logbook

Your SACAA-compliant flight history, automatically maintained.

The RPC Logbook maintains each pilot’s complete flight history in the format required by SACAA Part 101. It auto-updates by importing data from AIS Flight Ops, AIS Inspection Suite, and external JSON sources, eliminating manual logbook entries. Every flight is recorded, traceable, and audit-ready. Supports multiple pilots and aircraft within a single organisation.

AIS Pre-Flight

Legal authorisation before every flight.

AIS Pre-Flight performs pre-flight checks and risk assessments in accordance with SACAA Part 101, and issues a time-limited authorisation token that proves each flight was legally sanctioned before take-off. This token gates every subsequent step in the platform, no flight may proceed without it.

AIS Flight Ops

Mission planning, drone coordination, and data collection.

AIS Flight Ops is the core operational application. It handles full mission planning with waypoint placement on Google Maps, automated flight pattern generation, and KMZ mission export to DJI Fly for autonomous drone execution. After the flight, AIS Flight Ops downloads inspection photos directly from the drone, packages mission data, telemetry, and photos into a single export bundle, and generates a branded mission report. Imports the Pre-Flight authorisation token and exports mission data to the Inspection Suite.

Platform: Android (native Kotlin / Jetpack Compose, DJI SDK v5)

Compatible aircraft: All DJI Fly compatible aircraft, Mavic 3 Pro, Mini 3, Mavic 2 Enterprise, Mavic Pro

  • STATUS: Commercially ready. Hardware validation with DJI Mavic 3 Pro and DJI RC RM330 in progress.

From raw data to a compliant inspection report.

AIS Inspection Suite imports data from AIS Flight Ops, drone cameras, and external JSON sources, and automatically evaluates and populates professional inspection reports. Features AI-assisted image classification and produces branded DOCX and PDF output on AIS letterhead, structured to ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
